Our partner, Juan Carlos Ojam, participated as a speaker in the “Legal Tech Talks” series organized by New York Law School.
In his talk, titled “Borderless Trademarks”, Juan Carlos delved into the new challenges brands face when trying to protect their identity internationally in an increasingly digital world. The discussion explored the evolving concept of trademark use and enforcement in the digital era, highlighting legislative gaps and enforcement issues that leave brands vulnerable on a global scale.
The session was moderated by Shahrokh Falati, Professor of Law from Practice, Co-Director of the NYLS Innovation Center for Law and Technology, and Director of the NYLS Patent Law Clinic.
